Narita Airport Terminal 3 (LCC): Complete Guide
Reliability: Low · Last checked: 2026-07-28
How to get to Terminal 3, the LCC terminal, what is inside, and how to spend the late night and early morning there.
Terminal 3 Basics
A terminal for LCCs such as Jetstar and Peach. It has no train station, so plan how you will get there.
Getting There
- By train: Get off at Airport Terminal 2 Station and walk about 13 minutes from the Airport Terminal 2 Station ticket gate through the connecting passage, or take the free shuttle bus.
- By bus: Some highway buses stop directly at Terminal 3 (check before you go).
Work back from your check-in deadline and always allow 15–20 minutes to get from the station.
Inside the Terminal
- Food Court (2F): One of the largest at any airport in Japan. Many places open at 5 a.m., and Matsuya is open 24 hours.
- Coin Lockers (2F): Charged by time. There is no staffed baggage storage.
- Benches and rest spaces: The usual place to spend the night.
- Priority Pass: Botejyu Yatai accepts it (conditions apply).
Late Night and Early Morning
When arriving late at night or leaving early in the morning, many people wait on the benches around the food court. For more comfort, Nine Hours Narita Airport, connected to Terminal 2 (within walking distance), is an option.
Points to Note
- Check-in counter opening and closing times differ by airline. Always check each airline's information.
