Narita Airport Airline Lounge Guide (ANA, JAL and Other Airlines)

Reliability: Medium · Last checked: 2026-10-03

Narita Airport's airline lounges by terminal and satellite: ANA and JAL hours and locations, how the satellites differ, and the fact that Terminal 3 has no lounge.

In short

Narita Airport's airline lounges are after security in Terminals 1 and 2. ANA is based in Terminal 1 and JAL in Terminal 2. Which ANA lounge you use depends on the satellite your boarding gate is in, and the lounge in Satellite 2 is open only in the afternoon. Terminal 3 has no lounge. For card lounges, see "Narita Airport Card Lounges and Priority Pass Facilities".

Who this is for

  • People looking for a lounge they can use with elite status or a premium-class boarding pass
  • People on ANA or JAL flights whose lounge depends on which satellite their gate is in
  • People who will use Terminal 3 (LCC) and want to know whether it has a lounge

Terminal 1 (ANA, Star Alliance and Others)

Which ANA lounge to use depends on the satellite your boarding gate is in.

  1. ANA SUITE LOUNGE: Satellite 5, 4F, from 7:00 until the last ANA Group international flight departs. SUITE DINING and showers
  2. ANA LOUNGE (Satellite 5): 4F, from 7:00 until the last international flight departs. Noodle bar and showers
  3. ANA LOUNGE (Satellite 2): 2F, afternoons only, 13:00–19:50. For morning or late-evening flights, go to Satellite 5
  4. ANA ARRIVAL LOUNGE: South Wing, 1F (before security), 14:00–17:50. For use after an international arrival or when departing on a domestic flight

Terminal 1 also has the KAL Lounge (Korean Air, Central Building, 3F), United Club (Central Building, 3F), NARITA PREMIER LOUNGE (Satellite 1, 4F) and Turkish Airlines Lounge (Satellite 4, 4F).

Terminal 2 (JAL, oneworld and Others)

All JAL lounges have their reception on 3F of the Main Building.

  • JAL First Class Lounge: 7:30–22:00. Its sushi counter "Sushi Tsurutei" serves 7:30–11:30 and 15:00–20:00. Shoe shining (John Lobb)
  • JAL Sakura Lounge (International): 7:30–22:00. With nap rooms, a kids' room and shower rooms, you can lie down even during a long wait. It can be used for a fee even without eligibility
  • JAL Sakura Lounge (Domestic): Open in two blocks, 7:15–10:30 and 13:15–18:30. About 100 seats, 3 shower rooms. Passengers on JAL-operated flights can also use it for ¥3,000 per person

Terminal 2 also has the Dynasty Lounge (China Airlines, Main Building, 2F), Cathay Pacific's First and Business Class Lounge (Main Building, 2F; closed for renovation since May 11, 2026, reopening date not announced, with JAL's lounges offered instead), the Emirates Lounge (Main Building, 4F) and the Aspire Lounge (Satellite, 2F).

Terminal 3 Has No Lounge

Narita Airport's official card lounge information says Terminal 3 has no lounge and directs travelers to the facilities in Terminal 2. The list of airline lounges does not include Terminal 3 either. LCC passengers using Terminal 3 spend their time in the food court (many places open at 5:00, and Matsuya is open 24 hours).

Notes

  • The ANA LOUNGE in Satellite 2 is open only in the afternoon. Check which satellite your gate is in before heading there
  • The JAL Sakura Lounge (Domestic) closes in the middle of the day (10:30–13:15)
  • Opening hours for the Korean Air, United, Turkish Airlines, China Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, NARITA PREMIER LOUNGE and Aspire lounges are not given in Narita Airport's official list. Check each airline's or operator's information
  • Airline lounges are basically entered by class of travel or elite status; the only ones you can pay to enter are the JAL Sakura Lounges (the international one can be used for a fee even without eligibility — check JAL's official website for the price; the domestic one costs ¥3,000 per person for passengers on JAL-operated flights). If you are looking for a lounge you can enter with a card, see the card lounge article
