Kansai Airport Terminal 2 (Peach): Complete Guide
Reliability: Medium · Last checked: 2026-10-21
How to get to Terminal 2, where Peach flies from, the facilities after the April 2026 renewal, and what to watch out for.
Terminal 2 Basics
Terminal 2 is the LCC terminal used by Peach (Peach Aviation). There is no train station, so you get there from the Terminal 1 side by the free shuttle bus. The domestic area reopened after a renewal on April 1, 2026.
How to Get There
- Take the train (JR or Nankai) to Kansai Airport Station (connected directly to Terminal 1)
- Take the free shuttle bus from the stop in front of Aeroplaza (7–9 minutes)
Work back from the check-in deadline and always allow time for the shuttle bus. Some limousine buses stop at Terminal 2 directly.
Facilities After the Renewal (Domestic)
- Food court (inside the departure lounge): Two shops, Kagonoya and Azusa Coffee, opened first on April 1, 2026. Ramen BOX (where famous ramen shops rotate for limited periods) and Gottsuee Honpo opened on Thursday, October 15, 2026, making it a four-shop food court (Kansai Airports press release, October 1, 2026; listed on the official shop pages as of October 21, 2026). The food court as a whole is open 5:30–19:20 (varies with the flight schedule).
- There are also coin lockers, a kids' corner and smoking areas.
Points to Note
- The facilities are more compact than in Terminal 1. If you need a lounge or currency exchange, it is safer to take care of it on the Terminal 1 side before you move.
- Peach's check-in and boarding deadlines are strict. Follow the times in its official information.
