Reliability: Medium · Last checked: 2026-08-06

The showers at NODOKA, the shower room in the T1 gate area, the Hotel Nikko shower booths and the First Cabin large public bath, plus when you can use the showers in the lounges.

Four Paid Options Anyone Can Use

  1. KIX Airport Cafe Lounge NODOKA (Aeroplaza 2F, before security) — 7 shower rooms (3 for men, 3 for women, 1 accessible). ¥1,400 for 40 minutes (amenity set included). Its biggest strength is that it is open 24 hours, so you can shower late at night or early in the morning
  2. Shower room in the Terminal 1 international gate area (after security) — In the center of the international gate area on 2F. ¥800 for 15 minutes. Each room has shampoo and conditioner and body soap. Hours vary with the flight schedule
  3. Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport shower booths (Aeroplaza 1F) — 9:00–21:00 (last reception 20:00). ¥2,500 for 1 hour, no extensions. Bath towel, face towel and disposable toothbrush included
  4. Large public bath at First Cabin Kansai Airport (Aeroplaza 3F) — You can use it without staying, for ¥1,800 for 1 hour (towel and amenities included). It is the only place at Kansai Airport where you can soak in a bathtub. Not available during cleaning, 12:00–15:00

No Extra Charge If You Are Eligible for a Lounge

The lounges in the international area after passport control have shower rooms. If you have elite status or a premium-class boarding pass, you do not need to pay for a shower room.

  • KIX Lounge Premium (Terminal 1, 3F) — 2 shower booths. 6:30–0:30 (next day)
  • KIX Lounge KANSAI (Terminal 1, 3F) — Shower rooms (including a wheelchair-accessible booth). Roughly 6:00–2:15 (next day)
  • SOUTH LOUNGE (Terminal 1, 3F) — For Global Business Club members. It has free shower rooms. 8:00–22:00

Who can enter depends on your airline and membership status. See "Kansai Airport Airline Lounge and Membership Lounge Guide".

Which to Choose

  • Late night or early morning, before security → NODOKA
  • After passport control or during a connection → the lounge shower if you are eligible; if not, the shower room in the Terminal 1 gate area
  • You want to soak in a bath → the First Cabin large public bath
  • You also want a nap → First Cabin (short stay) or Hotel Nikko (day use)

Points to Note

  • Terminal 2 (LCC) has no showers. You need to go to Aeroplaza or Terminal 1
  • Prices and hours may change. Check the official website for the latest information
  • Only NODOKA publishes its number of rooms. Waiting times when busy are hard to predict, so leave plenty of time
