Kansai Airport Nursing Room (Baby Room) Guide
Reliability: Medium · Last checked: 2026-09-24
Where Kansai Airport's baby rooms (nursing rooms) are and how many there are, by terminal and by before or after security.
In short
Counting from the official website's list, Kansai Airport has 21 baby rooms: 12 in Terminal 1, 7 in Terminal 2 and 2 in Aeroplaza (the official list has 22; the remaining one is explained under Notes). Anyone can enter, and they have a diaper changing area, a nursing space, hot water for preparing formula and a microwave (not in every room). The nursing space is for women only (it can also be used for pumping); everything else can be used by anyone. Terminal 1 has 6 rooms after passport control for international flights, spread across the North Wing, the center and the South Wing, so you can find one near your gate. On the other hand, Terminal 2 has only one room after security on each of the domestic and international sides, so it is reassuring to take care of things before security.
Who this is for
- People departing from or arriving at Kansai Airport with a baby

Notes
- The number and locations were counted from the official website's page for each baby room (name, terminal, floor, area). The official list has 22 entries, but the one near Gate 40 in Terminal 1 is not counted in this article because the official information contradicts itself: its name says "International South Wing" while its area says "domestic gate area". If you board near Gate 40, check the signs in the terminal
- The room on the north side of Terminal 1, 3F has no area listed officially; because 3F is a public area of shops and restaurants, we treat it as before security
- There is no official information on hours or fees (they are shared facilities with no mention of charges). We treat rooms in the public area as usable during terminal opening hours, and rooms in the gate areas as usable from passing security (passport control) until boarding
- This page does not show real-time crowding. Locations and numbers may change with renovations, so also check the official information before you go
