Kansai Airport Food Guide | Where to Eat in Each Terminal

In short

Kansai Airport has about 62 places to eat and drink. Three are open 24 hours: Nakau (Aeroplaza 3F), ZETTERIA (Aeroplaza 2F) and McDonald's (Terminal 1, 2F), and Sukiya (Terminal 1, 2F) is also open except 3:00–4:00. After passport control in Terminal 1, many places stay open until 0:55 (next day), and Cafe & Bar Wa SAKURA until 2:15 (next day). In Terminal 2 (LCC), the places after security open at 5:30, in time for early flights.

Open 24 Hours or Late at Night

1. Nakau (Aeroplaza 3F, before security): open 24 hours
2. ZETTERIA (Aeroplaza 2F, before security): open 24 hours. Morning menu 5:00–10:30
3. McDonald's (Terminal 1, 2F, before security): open 24 hours
4. Sukiya (Terminal 1, 2F, before security): open 23 hours, closed 3:00–4:00
5. COCO'S Airport Dining (Terminal 2, 1F, before security): 4:00–2:00 (next day)

Aeroplaza also has the 24-hour NODOKA lounge, so late at night this area is the place to base yourself.

After Passport Control (Terminal 1, 2F, International)

Many places are open from 6:30 to 0:55 (next day), so you can have a proper meal even before a late international flight.

• Kamukura Premium (ramen), Torisho, Burger King, Crystal Jade (la mian and xiaolongbao), Ebiichi, Tsukiji Magoemon, Nihon no Shokudo, MENSHO, OnigiriBurger: all 6:30–0:55 (next day)
• Tully's Coffee, PRONTO Terminal 1: 6:30–0:55 (next day)
• ESPRESSO & BAKERY: 8:00–23:00 / Musubiya Hi no Oto Mizu no Oto: 8:00–22:00

Domestic Side (Terminal 1, 2F)

After security there are Botejyu 1946 (5:30–21:30) and St. Marc Café (5:30–21:10), so you can eat before an early flight.

Before Security (Terminal 1)

The restaurants are concentrated on 2F, and most are open 7:00–22:00: Dotonbori Kamukura, 551HORAI, Nihonbashi Tendon Kaneko Hannosuke, Takoyaki Kappo Takomasa, Soba Restaurant Sojibo, Osaka Temma Sushi Nishiya, Maido Ookini Shokudo Kanku Shokudo, Starbucks and more. On the 1F arrivals level there are Starbucks (South Gate) and Doutor (North Gate), both 6:30–22:30.

Terminal 2 (LCC)

• Before security: COCO'S Airport Dining (4:00–2:00, next day), PRONTO LCC Terminal (6:00–22:30)
• After security (international): Nihon no Gochiso (5:30–22:25), nana's green tea (5:30–22:05)
• After security (domestic): Kagonoya and Azusa Coffee (both 5:30–19:20)

The domestic side of Terminal 2 closes at 19:20, so for an evening flight, eat before going through security.

Aeroplaza

Besides Nakau and ZETTERIA, open 24 hours, there are Olive no Oka (9:00–23:00), Liu Jia Xi'an Daoxiaomian (10:00–23:00), PRONTO (7:00–20:00) and the hotel's all-day dining "The Brasserie" (breakfast from 5:45).

• What 551HORAI sells changes by time of day (chilled items from 7:00, hot items from 10:00, eat-in from 11:00)
