Haneda Airport Nursing Room (Baby Room) Guide
Reliability: Medium · Last checked: 2026-09-24
Where Haneda Airport's baby rooms (nursing rooms) are and how many there are, by terminal and before or after security.
In short
Haneda has 59 baby rooms (nursing rooms) across its 3 terminals, with plenty both before and after security. Every room has nursing booths, baby seats, washbasins and hot water, and dads can come in too, except into the nursing booths. Three things to watch: in Terminal 1, 5 of the 7 rooms after security are for women only; Terminal 2 international has only 1 after passport control; and the "after-arrival area" in Terminal 3 is only passed through by people arriving on international flights.
Who this is for
- People departing from or arriving at Haneda with a baby
- People deciding whether to feed or change their baby before or after security
- People staying in the public area to meet or see off family
Terminal 1 (Domestic)
Before security (10): B1F (2), 1F (4), 2F (4).
After security (7): 2 in the 1F bus departure lounge (both women only) and 5 on 2F (3 of them women only). Men can enter only the other 2 on 2F, so if a dad will change the diaper, it is easier to do it before security.
Terminal 2 (Domestic and International)
Before security (9): 1F (4), 2F domestic departure lobby / international arrival lobby (3), 3F (1), 4F (1).
After security
- Domestic restricted area: 1F (1), 1F bus departure lounge (1), 2F (9), 11 in total
- International, after passport control: only 1, on 1F
If you are flying internationally from Terminal 2, it is safer to use one before passport control.
Terminal 3 (International)
Public area (7): 1 each on 1F, 2F (arrival lobby) and 5F, and 2 each on 3F (departure lobby) and 4F.
After passport control (11): 1F bus gates (1), 2F (7), 3F (3).
Other areas
- 2F "after-arrival area" (2): the area international arrivals pass through until they finish immigration. People meeting arrivals cannot use these, so use the 1 in the 2F arrival lobby (public area)
- 1F domestic transfer lobby (1): for people transferring from international to domestic flights
Notes
- The official site only gives the number of rooms per terminal, floor and area. For exact locations such as which gates they are near, check Haneda Airport's official floor guide (HANEDA MAP) or the signs in the terminal
- There is no official information on hours or fees. We treat public-area rooms as usable while the terminal is open, and restricted-area rooms as usable from security (passport control) until boarding
- We do not show how busy they are in real time. Depending on your gate, the nearest baby room may be some distance away, so allow extra time
- Locations and numbers may change due to renovation work and so on. Check the official information before you go
