Fukuoka Airport Power, Wi-Fi, and Charging Spot Guide

Conclusion

Fukuoka Airport has 35 free charging areas in total in the terminals, and free Wi-Fi ("AirportFreeWiFi") is available. If you want to sit down and charge in comfort, the cafes with power seats (Domestic 3F, after security, International 1F and 3F) are a good choice.

Free Wi-Fi

• Name (SSID): "AirportFreeWiFi-2.4G" or "AirportFreeWiFi-5.0G".
• How to connect: Choose either network, open a browser, follow the on-screen instructions to review the terms of use, and select "Start Connection."
• It is free, but traffic is not encrypted and communication logs are recorded. You pay for any paid services you use on the internet.
• It may not work inside shops or in some areas. You are asked to avoid device-to-device communication through the wireless access points.

Free Charging Areas

The official number of locations is as follows (you can check the locations by the icons on the official terminal map).

• Domestic: 3 on 1F, 13 on 2F, 2 on 3F.
• International: 3 on 1F, 13 on 3F, 1 on 4F.
• There are also charging areas after security (Domestic 2F departure gate area, International 3F after passport control).
• The private work booth STATION WORK (International 1F) is paid, charged in 15-minute units. Check the STATION WORK official site for the fee.

Cafes and Restaurants with Power Seats

• Domestic 3F (before security): Starbucks (7:00–21:30 L.O.), Tully's Coffee (8:00–21:00 L.O., from 7:30 on weekends and holidays).
• Domestic Arrivals Exit (1F): Doutor Coffee Shop, Domestic South Arrivals Exit (7:00–20:45 L.O.).
• Domestic, after security: Doutor Coffee Shop, Gate Area store (6:30–21:30), Tully's Coffee Departure Gate Store (6:30–21:00 L.O.), Cafe Eastern and DEP.DINER (from 6:00 until the last flight boards).
• International: Tully's Coffee (1F, 7:00–21:00 L.O.), COSTA COFFEE (3F, 7:00–20:00 L.O.).

Which to choose

• Charge right away → The charging areas in the Arrivals Lobby (Domestic 1F) or the departure gate area.
• Sit down and relax → Cafes with power seats. After security, Cafe Eastern and DEP.DINER open from 6:00.
• Get some work done → STATION WORK (paid private booth).
• Early-morning departure → Cafe Eastern and DEP.DINER after security (from 6:00).

Notes

• Power seats may be taken when it is busy. Please avoid occupying them for a long time.
• Because the Wi-Fi is not encrypted, we recommend using a VPN or switching to mobile data when entering passwords or card numbers.
