Fukuoka Airport Luggage Storage and Coin Locker Guide

In short

At Fukuoka Airport you can choose from three ways to handle luggage: coin lockers you use yourself, temporary storage handled by staff, and delivery to your hotel or home. Coin lockers start at ¥400 for small and ¥600 for medium in both the Domestic and International Terminals, and a large locker in the Domestic Terminal is ¥800. Staffed hours are 7:00–22:30 (Domestic) and 7:30–21:00 (International 1F).

Coin lockers (prices are per day, tax included)

• Domestic 1F Arrivals Lobby / North Arrivals Exit: Small ¥400, Medium ¥600, Large ¥800, Extra Large ¥900 (the North Arrivals Exit also has wide-door lockers).
• Domestic B1F next to the Security Office / B2F Subway Access Hall: Small ¥400, Medium ¥600, Medium Wide ¥800, Large ¥800, Large Wide ¥1,200.
• International 1F Access Hall, North and South sides: Small ¥400, Medium ¥600, Large ¥800, Large Wide ¥1,200.
• International 3F North side of the lobby: Small ¥400, Medium ¥600, Medium Wide ¥800, Large ¥800, Large Wide ¥1,200.
• Domestic lockers can be used for up to 7 days including the start date, and each day is counted from 0:00 (24:00). Extending adds a charge per day.
• Staffed hours are 7:00–22:30 for Domestic, 7:30–21:00 for International 1F, and 7:00–21:00 for International 3F. You cannot put luggage in or take it out while the terminal building is closed.

Temporary storage and parcel delivery

• International 1F Sagawa Express FUKUOKA SERVICE COUNTER (temporary luggage storage): 7:30–21:40. The fee depends on size and number of days, so check at the counter.
• Domestic B1F CARGO PASS (same-day hotel delivery and temporary storage): 8:30–20:30. Hotel delivery is accepted 8:30–14:00 for airport to hotel and 14:00–20:30 for hotel to airport, and temporary storage is accepted 8:30–17:00. Delivery is advertised as "one coin," but the amount is not stated on the official page (check the CARGO PASS official site).
• Domestic 1F North Parcel Counter (Yamato Transport and Japan Post): 7:00–21:00. Rates depend on size and destination.

Which to choose

• A few hours to a day, and you want to put luggage in and take it out yourself → Coin lockers, near the arrivals exit or in the Subway Access Hall.
• Large suitcase → Large or Large Wide lockers, or a temporary storage counter.
• Sightseeing hands-free → CARGO PASS (same-day hotel delivery) or a parcel counter.
• Leaving luggage on the international side → Sagawa Express on International 1F, or the lockers on 1F and 3F.

Notes

• The Domestic Terminal is open 5:30–22:30 and the International Terminal is open 5:00–22:40 (1F; 2F–4F close at 21:40), depending on flight operations. After closing, you cannot take luggage out of the lockers.
• The official page does not show locker availability. If the lockers are full, use temporary storage.
• Fees and hours are based on Fukuoka Airport's official page (two Domestic locker locations were rechecked on October 4, 2026). They may change.
